But Eircom broadband customers are upset at the price hike, and say it has been too gradual. "There's been no warning that they were going to start charging and they're absolutely furious," says Paul Kench, from the Eircom Awareness Group. "It's taking them by surprise." "I just didn't have that look in my eye. I just knew I had to write a letter. It was a question of what else was I going to do."
